Here’s another VeloReality offer that’s guaranteed to give you many hours of high quality (1080 full HD) video footage to watch while training indoors: 3 Grand Tours for little over 85 Euros.
As follow up to my previous Indoor Training Tools Revisited post: if you haven’t tried Veloreality Video yet, now would be a good time to do so.
Remember that the software is free and works with just about any (smart) trainer out there, including Tacx, Wahoo, BKOOL, Elite and any other Ant+ / FE-C capable device, including power meters.
To get you started, I have put together a three video package for just € 9.95 – it’s a mix of flat, rolling terrain and climbing rides.
A few years back, I wrote a post on indoor training tools / apps which I had used or intended to investigate further.
That post has had two inline revisions and another revision would not make it more readable, so I’m dedicating a new post to it 🙂

First, I realized that I only mentioned the Sufferfest in one of the revisions, but the original post had no entry on Sufferlandria at all.
This was probably due to my voluntary exile out of Sufferlandria, but in hindsight, I think it was unfair to leave them out altogether.
So, let me first right that wrong…

Updates to this post:
- January 2019 – new (follow up) post here
- December 2017
- November 2016
Over the years, I’ve come across many indoor training tools, either as platform or software package, that (claim) to make your ‘mind-numbingly dull’ indoor training more bearable. And at times I’ve written short reviews on them. As the current indoor season comes to a close, I’m wrapping up my experiences, hoping this will be useful for you.
